SIG personnel changes

Following the personnel changes announced in last month’s ebulletin, we are delighted to confirm that Burcu Tezcan Unal, who has been in the role of Acting TTEd SIG Coordinator since April 2018, has accepted an invitation by the committee to take on the role of TTEd SIG Coordinator.

New logo

Our competition to design a new logo yielded some excellent entries, and we’re now inviting members to choose the winner! Designs were sought that reflected the SIG’s values and principles: being collaborative, reflective, practice-based and welcoming. There are five designs to choose from; click here to vote for your favourite. The winning design will be selected as the new TTEd SIG logo.

Our first webinar

We are very excited to announce TTEd SIG’s first ever webinar, taking place on Sunday 11 November at 2pm GMT. Anthony Gaughan will be talking with us about Celta training from the perspective of the teacher trainer. This session will focus on what the on-course experience is like for new Celta trainers and what to expect in your first year as a Celta Tutor. New discussion platform

It has been a while since TTEd has held discussions. However, we are pleased to inform you that TTEd has a new discussion moderator now in Özlem Zengin and a new platform where our discussions will be held.

Topic: Trainer observations and feedback. Is the CPD model used for teachers transferable to trainers or do we need something more?
