Liverpool PCE 2019: Joint event with BESIG

TTEd SIG has been organising a joint PCE event with BESIG entitled ‘Training (Business) English teachers to prepare learners for modern workplaces: Integration of soft skills’. Confirmed speakers of the event are Ben Knight, Gordon Lewis and Ros Wright. This a-day-long event will start off with the speakers’ short sessions, which will set the tone before the focus groups are constructed to work on tasks interactively. Webinar with Lindsay Clanfield

The TTEd team are excited to announce our second webinar in this brand new webinar series. Join us and our presenter, the excellent Lindsay Clandfield, on Saturday 19 January at 2pm GMT. Lindsay will be discussing principles of online task design for teacher trainers and teacher education, and he’ll be sharing some practical ideas for online task design. We’re all looking forward to seeing you there.

The TTEd team are happy to announce our second discussion to be initiated this month. Join us on Edmodo (enter group code 427ijh) for the second round discussion as of 20 December. The discussion is on “Teacher Motivation”. What is there beyond teaching? Do teachers want to think beyond the classroom? Do they want to develop? Why?/ Why not?
